UK payment receipt

Record a payment in pounds. VAT Notice 700/21 describes a VAT invoice. This receipt is not that invoice, and it does not apply the £250 simplified-invoice test.

Official sources

AllForm does not replace these sources, and the PDF is not filed for you.

What you type stays in this browser. The server does not keep the PDF.

Choosing a country opens that page and keeps what you have typed.

The amount received stays the number you type. A tax row is the part already included in that amount.

VAT is shown in the selected currency. This page does not convert the VAT amount to sterling.

How to fill this in

Enter who paid, who received the money, the date received, and the amount. The currency starts as GBP. A VAT number is printed only if you type one. The amount received is not recalculated.

A simplified VAT invoice has its own conditions, including a £250 limit and VAT shown in sterling. This page does not decide those conditions and does not convert the amount. If VAT was included in the payment, type the rate to show that included portion. If it was not, leave the rate empty.

Choose A4 or US Letter before you download. Empty dates, rates, and business numbers stay empty.
