India payment receipt

Record money already received. The GST invoice rules describe a receipt voucher for an advance. This page is not that voucher and does not file it.

Official sources

AllForm does not replace these sources, and the PDF is not filed for you.

What you type stays in this browser. The server does not keep the PDF.

Payer
Recipient

Choosing a country opens that page and keeps what you have typed.

The amount received stays the number you type. A tax row is the part already included in that amount.

This page is not the GST portal and does not create an e-invoice. A receipt here is not a GST receipt voucher.

How to fill this in

A receipt voucher under the GST invoice rules evidences an advance. It has its own particulars, including the advance amount, the tax rate and tax amount, the place of supply on an inter-state supply, and whether reverse charge applies. This PDF does not use the receipt-voucher heading and does not calculate tax on an advance.

Type the receipt number, the date received, the payer, the recipient, the GSTIN you already hold, and the amount you received. The currency starts as INR. If GST was included in that payment, type the rate to show the included portion. It is not added again. Leave the rate empty when the receipt has no GST line.

Choose A4 or US Letter before you download. Empty dates, rates, and business numbers stay empty.
