Australian receipt template
Show what the customer paid. business.gov.au treats a receipt as proof of payment and a tax invoice as a different document.
Official sources
AllForm does not replace these sources, and the PDF is not filed for you.
What you type stays in this browser. The server does not keep the PDF.
Choosing a country opens that page and keeps what you have typed.
The amount received stays the number you type. A tax row is the part already included in that amount.
This page does not say Tax invoice and does not fill in 10%.
How to fill this in
business.gov.au says an invoice tells the customer what they owe, and a receipt shows what they paid. It also says Australian Consumer Law requires a receipt for a purchase over $75, excluding GST, and within 7 days when a customer asks for a receipt for a smaller purchase. The contents it lists are the business name, ABN or ACN, date, goods or services, and price. This page has those fields and does not decide the $75 test.
The currency starts as AUD. The amount received stays the number you type. A GST rate, if you enter one, is the included portion and is not added again. The PDF does not use the words Tax invoice. A buyer who needs a tax invoice uses the invoice page.
Choose A4 or US Letter before you download. Empty dates, rates, and business numbers stay empty.
