India GST quotation format

Price a supply in rupees before you issue a tax invoice. The GST invoice rules do not make this quotation a tax invoice, a bill of supply, or a receipt voucher.

Official sources

AllForm does not replace these sources, and the PDF is not filed for you.

What you type stays in this browser. The server does not keep the PDF.

Supplier
Customer

Choosing a country opens that page and keeps what you have typed.

A tax row on this quotation is an estimate. The PDF total stays Quoted total.

This page is not the GST portal and does not create an e-invoice. A receipt here is not a GST receipt voucher.

How to fill this in

Use the supplier GSTIN you already have, the customer, HSN or SAC if you want it on the offer, the description, and the prices you type. The currency starts as INR. Valid until and Notes carry the expiry and the conditions. Empty amounts stay empty.

For a supply in the same state, type CGST and SGST. For a supply to another state, type IGST only. The PDF marks those rows as estimated and does not use the tax-invoice heading. If you are not registered, or you are not showing GST, leave the rates empty. Nothing is uploaded to the GST portal, and no IRN is created.

Choose A4 or US Letter before you download. Empty dates, rates, and business numbers stay empty.

FAQ

Can the buyer claim input tax credit from this quotation?

No. A tax invoice is a different document. This page only prints the offer.

When do I show IGST instead of CGST and SGST?

Use IGST for a supply to another state. Use CGST and SGST together for a supply in the same state. The amounts are estimates.

Is this a GST receipt voucher?

No. A receipt voucher evidences an advance. This quotation does not.
