India offer letter format
Offer work in rupees before the person joins. The Government of India announced that the four Labour Codes took effect on 21 November 2025 and described appointment letters for workers. This page is not that letter.

This is an offer of work. It does not become an employment contract, and it does not insert an at-will, non-compete, termination, or probation clause.
Choosing a country opens that page and keeps what you have typed.
This offer is not an appointment letter and is not a form prescribed by a state government.
Casual is a term used in some countries, including Australia. Check whether it applies where the person will work.
Leave this blank unless you are writing a figure you have chosen. This page does not insert a statutory minimum.
How to fill this in
Write the employer, the candidate, the job title, the place of work, the start date, and the pay or salary structure you are offering. The currency starts as INR. Leave out a component you are not offering. Hours and leave stay blank until you type them.
An appointment letter is a different document, issued for the employment itself. The press release describes appointment letters as mandatory for workers and does not publish one national form on this page. State rules can differ because labour is on the Concurrent List. This PDF does not calculate provident fund, gratuity, or a statutory bonus, and it does not claim to be the form prescribed by a state government.
Choose A4 or US Letter before you download. Empty pay, dates, hours, and leave stay empty. The PDF does not add an at-will clause, a non-compete, a termination clause, or a probation period.
